If you love astronomy and history and want to get a few hours' respite from the searing temperatures, we have an alternative plan for you. Enjoy Culla and the universe in one of the most attractive spots in the Valencian Community, a special place where nature and impressive landscapes in their wildest and untouched state come together with the still latent vestiges of times past, typical of the civilisations which imbued them with their history and identity: prehistoric, Muslim, the Knights Templar... It is an enclave situated in the heart of nature, located in San Cristóbal at an elevation of 1,000 metres. If you are enthusiastic about history, nature and science, visit Culla and its astronomical observatory.
Astromaestrat offers stargazing sessions for tourists aimed at all audiences and levels: tourists, amateurs and professionals. The sessions are given by specialist technicians with master's degrees in astronomy and astrophysics, and they are held at the tourist observatory located 1.4 km from the town of Culla, in the interior of the province of Castellón. It is also home to one of the best viewpoints of the Maestrat region, where you can enjoy the expansive landscape which never ceases to amaze.
